The Basin Street Brawlers brings together the brightest stars of the UK's new generation of swing and traditional jazz instrumentalists with a set of players who cut their teeth touring with the UK's top jazz groups and visiting American jazz-men.

Together they form a stellar cast of the UK's top swinging jazz players, storming through a set of tunes dominated by the great song writers of the 1920s and 1930s. Their style takes inspiration from many sources, including those bands in the 'chicago style' such as the Louis Armstrong All-Stars, the Eddie Condon and Jack Teagarden bands – and indeed the UK's Alex Welsh band.
